Stefanos Theod. Tserpanis
Born in Athens. He studied Economics at the Athens University of Economics and Business (ASOEE) with a scholarship from the IKY. He holds a Master's degree in Economics (MA) from California State University, Long Beach, U.S.A . He attended graduate courses in Business Administration (Marketing), from West Coast University, Los Angeles, California. He holds a postgraduate Certificate from the Economics Institute, University of Colorado, Boulder Colorado, U.S.A.
He is currently a faculty member at the University of West Attica, School of Management, Economics and Social Sciences, Department of Business Administration, in the area of Marketing and Digital Economy. She teaches Consumer Behaviour, Public Relations (PR) and Marketing Management. He has served as Assistant Professor of Marketing at the School of Management and Economics, Department of Marketing and Advertising, TEI of Athens and taught Principles of Advertising, Personnel Supervision and Management, Business Communications, Market Research, Advertising, Laboratory Organization, Digital Marketing, Quantitative Methods in Marketing, Internet - Multimedia (1990-2010).
He worked at OTE-COSMOTE (1988-2018), as a Marketing Specialist, initially in the Operations Coordination & Control Department and in the Strategic Planning & Control Department for the introduction of Marketing at Hellenic Telecom Organization (OTE).
He served as Commercial Advisor to the General Director of Commercial Affairs. He was simultaneously involved in the promotional campaign of the IPO and the evaluation of OTE's external investments in Romania, Armenia, Bulgaria and Jordan. At the same time he was involved in the Video on Demand and Data Warehouse projects.
He was the Commercial Executive in the Subsidiary Supervision Office for the implementation and operation of the Reporting & Monitoring System of the Group's subsidiaries, as well as in the Group's General Technology Division, in the Capital Management & Revenue Assurance Division, and in the Customer Finance Division.
In the past, he has worked as a Marketing (Pricing) Executive at Rank Xerox SA, Diners Club SA and Tecnica SA. He is a member of the American Economic Association, the Greek Chamber of Economics and Commerce and the Alumni Associations of California State University, Long Beach and Economics Institute, University of Colorado, Boulder, USA.
